Senior Software Engineer - Spilberg

About the role

For a global leader in visualization and connectivity technology, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. You will play a key role in integrating cloud, data, and AI components into innovative applications across enterprise, entertainment, and healthcare.

In this position, you will work with a modern tech stack and enjoy significant autonomy in technical decisions. You will translate user stories into high-performing software architecture and support the team through coaching and high-quality code.

Your responsibilities

• Translate user stories into stable implementations
• Make balanced technology choices between speed and quality
• Integrate all software components into one functioning solution
• Deliver tested, documented, and maintainable code
• Work with modern scripting languages (Node.js, TypeScript, Python)
• Design interfaces with cloud backends and IoT
• Develop for cloud/backends with Docker, databases, and DevOps practices
• Coach and mentor colleagues

Stack & tools

• Languages: Node.js, TypeScript, Python (plus)
• Architecture: Microservices, Docker, Docker Swarm
• Cloud: On-premise, AWS (nice-to-have)
• DevOps: REST APIs, databases, CI/CD, containers

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Experience in healthcare is a plus
• Strong in technical decision-making, documentation, and integration
• Curious, independent, and a natural coach

• Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset
